Ro-Me-Ro is album of the week at Boomkat
Ro-Me-Ro is out NOW and is AOTW at Boomkat. Yes!

The first few come on transparent vinyl. There is a MP3/FLAC option as well...
Here is the review:
*Initial copies come on strictly limited transparent vinyl* Oh my, Digitalis strike pure gold with one of the finest debuts we've heard on the label since the magnificent pair of Motion Sickness of Time Travel albums last year, a killer amalgam of squashed beats, lo-fi pop and narcotic, slo-jams hugely recommended if you're into Hype Williams, Nite Jewel or Julee Cruise. Paco Sala is the work of producer Anthony Harrison (Konntinent), now working with celestially enigmatic vocalist, Leyli, who between them evoke a dreamstate of introspective ambience, solitary R&B and heavenly-crushed Pop. It's radically different to anything else you'll have heard on Digitalis - bar, of course this record's predecessor, a C38 starring Felicia Atkinson which was quietly ushered out on the label in 2011. In any case, this is essentially your first encounter with Paco, and trust us, it promises to be a very memorable one. Leyli's vocals are the stunning central feature to seven of the ten songs, from the crystalline beauty of 'Gifts Of The Bloom' to the sub-tropical breeze of 'Spiral' and the deserted Roadhouse vibes of 'Earn Your Stripe', but it's when they're coupled with the uniquely skewed variety of Paco's productions that we can measure this safely in the realms of brilliance. Between the lingering shuffle and mind-melting melody of 'Dumb Truths' to the Vatican Shadow-like bruise of 'Blank Legend', 'Spiral's sepia-tinted imagining of AC Marias-meets-Fatima Al Qadiri or the dry-docked Yacht vision of 'Legacy Edition', you've got a genuinly stunning addition to the outer-Pop sphere. The best thing on Digitalis since Jürgen Müller's 'Science Of The Sea'?: Easily. A massive recommendation.

Gifts of the Bloom @ No Fear of Pop
Smart write up of Gifts of the Bloom over at No Fear of Pop...
“Gifts of the Bloom” is the first single from Ro-me-ro, Paco Sala’s forthcoming LP on Digitalis. Paco Sala is the side project by Konntinent‘s Antony Harrison, who was recently joined by vocalist Leyli. The result of this encounter is a truly marvelous affair, a restrained yet lush pop tune that starts out slowly and almost carefully until Harrison’s looped instrumentation and Leyli’s multiply layered, crystal-clear vocals intermingle, lift off and eventually vanish into ethereal, otherworldly spheres.
Cheers No Fear Of Pop!
You can get Gifts of the Bloom now over at the digitalis bandcamp for a dollar
Ro-me-ro is expected to drop early/mid April
